The Climb to Sobriety: Day 12 – Grey’s Anatomy, More Lonelygirl15, My Cold

Day 12 today of my sobriety. I must admit, at times it has been very hard despite how sick I am. Especially when I go grocery shopping, because Thrifty’s is right beside the liquor store, literally. But, I’ve been strong. I even got support from my ex’s step dad, who has been sober for 10 years this month, and offered to take me to a meeting if I ever should need it. I thought that was a grand gesture, made me feel awesome.

This codine the doctor gave me has been doing wonders. I take it around 10:30PM, and I’m out an hour later. So I’m sleeping now! Finally. I just hope I don’t have to fill the second prescription he gave me, the potent one. It’s pretty pricey.

Two weeks ago I ordered a cable for my new phone (my second post shows the phone). It arrived yesterday, and the ass hats sent the wrong one they were advertising. I’m so pissed, I have all these awesome pictures and video’s from around Victoria I want to put onto the blog. But I can’t get them off the damn phone! Only way I can is to email them all singly, that takes time and money for being on the web. So not about to do that, have to go around town maybe and try and find a decent cable. Grr.

Okay, so another post on Lonelygirl15. I didn’t think it had exploded this much. Yesterday I was at my parents place for dinner, when I glanced at the newspaper. And guess who made the front page? Lonelygirl15. Some reporter went in-depth to find out who she was, some 20 year old named Jessica, from New Zealand, graduated some acting school etc. She has been co-operating with reports so I don’t think it will hurt her career, and most stuff on the Internet blows over in a couple weeks so, I’d say she’s fine. I am however gettin’ sick of hearing about it.

And finally in this post, I’d like to talk about “Grey’s Anatomy.” After I finished the OC, a friend of mine said I should check this show out. So far I have watched 3 episodes, and its pretty good I must say. It’s no OC, and it makes me a little queezy cause of the surgery scenes lol, but other than that its a pretty good drama. I’m looking forward to finishing it! Then I will give a proper review.
